Tour suggestion by Annina von Falkenstein

I can finally enjoy the industry night myself - the last two times I was in Münchenstein at my employer VITO in production as a guide for the industry night.
My path leads me first to dandelion. Even if the topic of dementia is stressful, we must not close our eyes to it. The work that the team does for people with dementia not only benefits them directly, but also those around them and therefore society as a whole. The topic will also continue to gain political importance as people continue to grow older.
My tour then takes me to the Exhibition and Congress Centre. Many people write the trade fair off completely due to the cancellation of events. I believe it is changing and has a lot of potential. I want to explore that more closely.
To keep my voice clear and my breath fresh, I then make a detour to the cult Ricola cheeses. I had to do a group project on this 10 years ago during my studies - so I'm all the more pleased to be able to take a look behind the scenes now.
Then it's off to Grossbasel! More precisely, to my beloved Gundeli in the Dreispitz area. At Birtel, it's time for refreshments and a refresher on the beer-making process. Afterwards, I take a look at Weizenkorn - I like both the products they make and their approach to work integration. This serves as inspiration for my day-to-day work at VITO, where we also help people back into the workplace time and again.
Just before my eyes close, I pop into Weleda: the production of natural and partly vegan products reflects many of my values. Maybe I'll even get a night cream to take home? After so many impressions, I need a long night of beauty sleep so that I can continue dreaming about the versatility of the Basel industry!
