About Denkstatt
Denkstatt operates wherever urban space, districts, sites or buildings change – where transformation occurs, where people, life and things get in motion and where the connections between places, narratives and uses are reorganised. The interdisciplinary team at Denkstatt shapes these spatial transformation processes in participatory collaboration: from the conversion of existing buildings and open space strategies to large-scale district and site developments as well as urban climate adaptations, sustainable organisational models and communication strategies.
At this year’s Industry Night, Denkstatt and its practical partner B/IAS (Basel Institute for Applied Urban Research) will focus on the gradual transformation of the Gleisbogen site into a sustainable and productive space for different uses.
