On parcels, peptides and pizza ovens: 29 working environments and 100 programme items at the Regio Liestal Industry Night

On Friday 18 September 2026, the second Industry Night Regio Liestal will take place. 29 companies will open their doors from 5 pm to midnight and invite visitors on a unique behind-the-scenes tour: the programme features fascinating guided tours of laboratories, production halls and workshops. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get involved and chat with staff. The Industry Night has something exciting in store for everyone, young and old alike.

Bubendorf: The World of Wonders Laboratory, The Fascination of a Building Site
Bubendorf has a life sciences cluster of international standing. Active substances are developed, produced, and exported here on a large scale. At Industrienacht, there is a unique opportunity to take a look inside the laboratories. At Bachem, we follow the production of peptides step by step and learn how to behave correctly in a clean room. Carbogen Amcis invites visitors to experiment and provides information on its many training opportunities in chemistry. CIS Biopharma presents the latest therapies in cancer treatment. With Welti-Furrer and the tozzo gruppe, two major names in the construction industry are also on show in Bubendorf. Visitors can drive a digger, take a seat in the crane cab, and find out more about career opportunities in the sector. Right next door, Formex, a specialist in wood surfaces, opens its impressive halls.

Craftsmanship in Liestal
At EBL in Liestal, visitors can trace the path of electricity, fly over a solar field using VR goggles, and trade in energy in a business simulation game. Not far away, Unser Bier invites guests on a tour of the brewery and a blind tasting. Along Lausenerstrasse, the companies line up like pearls on a string: at Garage Keigel, under the motto "Pimp my Ride", we can turn a vehicle into a work of art; at Garage P. Schweizer, we can prove our skill in a wheel-change duel; and at Michel Krantrans, we can operate a truck crane ourselves. At Schreinerei Büchi, visitors shape their own workpieces; at Wahl Glas- und Metallbau, rose vases are welded; and at Etavis, electrical switches are assembled. Miru-Clean shows how to clean efficiently on its playful course.

Lausen, Itingen, Sissach: from button cell to transformer
In Lausen, Thingware shows how a smart home can save energy. On a tour of the IKEA distribution centre in Itingen, visitors learn how vast numbers of orders are processed efficiently and automatically. Renata produces over a million button cells every day, which keep our watches running and have become indispensable in medical technology. At Industrienacht, the company shows how these tiny power packs are made. In Sissach, Lichterloh opens its lighting workshop, while right next door, the pizza oven house Di Lello shows how the perfect oven is built. And at Rauscher & Stoecklin, we experience the production of those multi-tonne transformers through which the electricity for every second socket in Switzerland flows.

Sewer cleaners in Füllinsdorf, logistics giants in Pratteln
In Füllinsdorf, Metzgerhuus Stadt und Land offers a tour of its operation. Marquis Kanalservice shows its vehicle fleet, with which it recycles 30,000 tonnes of sludge every year. Meanwhile, the pet crematorium offers insight into the dignified process of a pet cremation. In Pratteln, at INRA Group, we learn how important precision-fit pipes are for the pharmaceutical industry and try our hand at the bending machine. In the impressive halls of Planzer Transport and the Swiss Post, the vast world of logistics becomes tangible. The final highlight is set by the Lachmatt Areal, with a particularly diverse range of businesses – from a car upholstery workshop and a print shop to a data centre. The daring can test their skill on a course with a forklift and a lifting platform.

It provides an overview of the shuttle lines, short descriptions of the companies' programmes, and all the key information on ticket sales. The programme booklet is available at advance sales points, Kulturbox outlets, evening box offices, and at all participating companies.

One ticket for the whole night
The Industrienacht ticket costs CHF 10 and connects all 29 working worlds in a seven-hour night-time journey through innovation, know-how, and history. Admission to Industrienacht is free for under-12s, schoolchildren, apprentices, students, holders of a colourkey or KulturLegi, and refugees (N, F, S, B permits). These groups are entitled to a free ticket.

Advance sales online and at sales points
Ticket vouchers can be purchased online via Eventfrog. On 18 September 2026, ticket vouchers must be exchanged for a ticket wristband at one of the five evening box offices (from noon). At advance sales points, buyers receive a ticket wristband directly:

Free travel with your ticket
With the Industrienacht ticket (ticket voucher or ticket wristband), visitors can travel free of charge on Friday, 18 September, on public transport within the TNW network (from 4 p.m.) and on the additional shuttle buses (from 5 p.m.). It is therefore worth getting a ticket in advance to travel for free.
