About Radio X
Radio X represents an independent, open, innovative, multicultural, and inclusive form of media. Its target audiences are young people, the young at heart, those interested in culture, and socially engaged individuals, as well as people with immigrant backgrounds. Radio X has the courage to break the mould with its programming.
Radio X is a media company based in Basel. As a non-profit foundation, Radio X is licensed by the Swiss Confederation and has a mandate to provide a radio programme with regional terrestrial coverage that complements other media offerings. Radio X also uses the internet and social media to distribute its content and interact with its communities.
