About Radio X
Radio X is Basler’s youth and culture channel – an independent, open, multicultural and integrated form of media. Radio X broadcasts a varied programme with more than 20 special programmes, listened to by 40,000 daily listeners in the region and many more worldwide. Its target groups are the young, the young at heart, immigrants and culture enthusiasts.
As a non-profit foundation, Radio X organizes a radio programme with regional reach, complementing the other media on offer. The Radio X foundation is licensed by the Swiss Confederate and has a service mandate. Radio X supports its employees, especially in their training as well as promoting and demanding respect towards and within its target groups.
