IWB is driving the transformation from fossil fuels to renewable energy and mobility with its customers – as a basic utility provider in the canton of Basel-Stadt and throughout Switzerland.

IWB also produces and sells renewable and carbon-neutral energy in the form of electricity, heat and cooling as well as for mobility. It thereby contributes to achieving the climate goals in the region and Switzerland. The goal is for the energy supply to become completely renewable and climate-friendly.
