About habö
Habö was founded in 1944 as a transport company under the name of Franz Hasenböhler AG. Today, the company is called Habö – the bulk material experts. Since 2019, it has developed into a company for the recycling of building material at the Allschwil site. The “Greening” division was also created in 2019. At its two sites, Habö handles 800,000 tonnes of material annually. Most of this is processed and returned to the building material cycle. Habö is thus one of the most important players in the construction supplier and logistics sector, making a significant contribution to a sustainable circular economy in northwestern Switzerland. In addition, Habö turns over 80,000 m2 of roof area into green roofs every year. The specialised substrates also contribute to climate protection goals in the region.
