About Franck Areal
Oversized silos, disused mills and decommissioned roasting ovens – the coffee substitute product Franck Aroma was produced and stored at the Franck site over the course of several decades. After Nestlé withdrew from this business segment, the 12,000 m2 site lay idle for a long time. With its sale to siblings Corinne, Dominik and Gabriel Eckenstein, a new chapter in the history of this industrial site began in 2022. The focus is on a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, which includes not only ecological but also social and economic aspects. This includes the preservation of existing buildings, the use of reusable building elements and materials, targeted offers for the people in the district and a diverse cultural programme for the young and old.
