About Die Bürste

Since its foundation in 2023 the Verein für die alte Handwerkskunst des Bürsten- und Besenbindens, Die Bürste for short, has dedicated itself to preserving, teaching, and passing on of the art of brush and broom making. The organization’s premises double as a workshop and an archive for old crafting practices. It’s located in the rear courtyard of 140 Vogesenstrasse and is part of the Werkstattkollektiv Fuxbau. Die Bürste is open to the public on the first Saturday of the month from March to December. Events and tours for individuals, schools, and institutions are also available.
