About Bürgerspital Basel (BSB)
The Bürgerspital Basel (BSB) has been serving the people of Basel for over 750 years and responding to the ever-changing needs of society. Today, the BSB offers seniors independent living with professional services and comprehensive care that meets the highest standards. With its wide range of services, the BSB also meets the diverse needs of people with disabilities: at BSB, they can find adapted workplaces, a wide range of supervised daytime activities, and suitable forms of housing. Thanks to clarifications, trial apprenticeships, and training, they can gain employment prospects. In this way, BSB ensures their professional and social integration. BSB is a company owned by the civic community of Basel and makes a substantial contribution to the social fabric of Basel.
