The working worlds of the Industry Night Regio Basel 2025

The third Industry Night Regio Basel will take place on Friday, 9 May 2025. Around 40 companies will provide exclusive insights into their day-to-day work, their culture, and their history from 5pm to midnight. The compelling mix of industries promises exciting journeys of discovery into the world of life sciences, technology, logistics, the food industry, and various crafts. Discounted early bird tickets are available until the end of the year. The programme will be released in March 2025.

How is research carried out in a laboratory, how is a prosthesis developed, how is a cosmetic manufactured, and how is a train serviced? The Industry Night offers the opportunity to have such questions answered, take a look behind the scenes, and discover the diversity of the Basel economic region. After two successful editions in 2022 (8,500 visitors) and 2024 (14,000 visitors), it will take place for the third time on 9 May 2025. Around 40 companies will open their doors for one night, from Basel’s harbour to Dreispitz, Münchenstein, Arlesheim, and Reinach. One ticket connects all of these working worlds, a network of shuttle buses ensures smooth transport from location to location. For the hungry and thirsty, there will be delicious food and cool drinks on site.

A colourful mix of sectors with old and new names

We are delighted that many of last year's companies will be back at the Industry Night, including the uptownBasel site, Roche, Endress+Hauser, Neoperl and Ultra-Brag. Anyone who missed them in 2024 will have another opportunity to visit the sights in May 2025. IWB will also be on board again, this time opening up its depot in Kleinhüningen with interesting insights into the supply of electricity, heat, and water. New participants include Blaser Architekten with insights into the planning and construction process, Oslo Studios with a unique sound experience and SBB with tours of the new, state-of-the-art service centre in Basel. The local economy is dynamic, innovative and diverse. The third Industry Night Regio Basel will once again demonstrate this with its vibrant showcase of small and large working environments from various sectors.

Statements

"As the main sponsor, we are delighted to give people in our region exciting insights into the diverse economic landscape and at the same time offer our companies a stage for their achievements and innovations. Join us and immerse yourself in the different corporate worlds of our location for one night."

– Martin Dätwyler, Director of the Basel Chamber of Commerce

"More than 2,500 people visited Endress+Hauser at the last Industry Night. We came into contact with numerous individuals who we would otherwise not have had the opportunity to interact with. We were able to demonstrate how our work plays a role in people's everyday lives and highlight the opportunities we offer as an employer. This success motivates us to continue supporting the Industry Night as a sponsor in 2025 and to renew our involvement as a participating company with a wide range of activities for visitors."

– Luc Schultheiss, CFO der Endress+Hauser Gruppe

"The Industry Night offers a unique opportunity for parents, young people and all interested parties to experience the diversity and innovative strength of our industry up close. I find it particularly exciting that many companies present their jobs and apprenticeships. Anyone wondering how modern and forward-looking industrial companies are today should not miss this night!"

– Mustafa Atici, Government Council Canton of Basel-Stadt

Many thanks to the sponsors

The Industry Night Regio Basel 2025 would not be possible without the active support of its sponsors. The Industrienacht Basel association would like to thank the main sponsor, the Basel Chamber of Commerce, as well as the sponsors IWB, Endress+Hauser, Neoperl, and Roche for their commitment and outstanding cooperation.
